  • Domestic violence: victims of domestic violence many times have to leave their home with no possessions.

About the following statistics:

Some people mistakenly think that homelessness is a lifestyle choice. The reality is that homelessness is primarily the result of unforeseen problems. It has been reported that 90% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and are only two paychecks away from being homeless.  80% of New Beginnings residents successfully graduate from the program and leave with a job and affordable housing.  96% of all donations are used for programs per audited financial statements. New Beginnings is serving those who want to recover and transition back into the work force.
