Volunteer Opportunities

2nd Life Resale Shop: An upscale thrift store where you can find furniture, clothing, household items, toys and more at great prices. Donations are accepted and welcome. Jobs for volunteers can consist of the following: sorting clothing, organizing, assisting customers, stocking shelves and various others.

Mulberry Inn Women with Children’s Home: Babysitting from 6-8pm Tues, Wed, Thurs, at the Women's Home. Seeking volunteers that could commit to service on a monthly basis. Example- would work once a week for an entire month. For Volunteers there is also a need for handyman services, raking leaves or other yard work at the Women's Home.

Helping Hands Outreach: New Beginnings of Lake County and several area churches will serve the local needy and homeless. This weekly event on Saturdays will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be held in the Winn Dixie Shopping plaza on Highway 50 in Clermont. Food, clothing and information for various social services such as food stamps, medical care, prescription drugs, counseling, legal assistance and more will be provided to the needy and homeless at no cost to them.

New Beginnings Office: Come to our office once a month to help address and stuff envelopes for our monthly newsletter that goes out to our supporters.

Sunday Farmer’s Market: The farmers market in downtown Clermont has donated all vegetables at the end of the day. The volunteer would need to pick up the donations and deliver to the Mulberry Inn. Seeking volunteers that could commit to service on a monthly basis.

Fund Raising Events: These are held throughout the year. Various volunteer opportunities.
